Mike Braswell - President/Owner
The computer nerd (with social skills) who founded ScenicRentals.com in 2001. You may ask, what led Mike to develop such a great website? The answer is simple, and much more modest than the question posed. While Mike was growing up, his father was often flying Delta jets around the world with very little telephone or internet access. This left Mike primarily in charge of taking reservations for the family’s 4 vacation rentals. Mike quickly learned the ins and outs of the vacation rental business. Whether it was coordinating the cleaning service, keys, or deposits, he needed to figure it out at an early age. After purchasing his own vacation rental, the importance of advertising became very clear to him. There are neither deposits to take nor keys to mail, if no one rents your property. To generate bookings, Mike leveraged his computer programming background to create ScenicRentals.com! When he is not working on the website, Mike enjoys visits to Islamorada and Duck Key in the Florida Keys. He also enjoys Tennis (ALTA in Atlanta), Auburn Football, and fishing.

Amy Braswell - Graphic Designer Extraordinaire and Friendly Support Representative
Having spent much of her life on the beach in Destin, Florida, Amy is very familiar with the vacation industry. Amy is currently working on her graphic design degree (her 3rd degree!) to give her the "official" credentials of a skill she has possessed for many years. Whether she is crafting, scrapbooking, or designing print media, the right side of Amy's brain is always thinking of new creative ideas. Amy has been instrumental in the design of ScenicRentals and is often working on new maps and designs for the website. In her spare time, there is no place Amy would rather be than near the beach...actually any mass of water for that matter. Her dream vacation is renting an overwater bungalow in Fiji and Bora Bora and watching the fish swim underneath.

Elizabeth Wentz - VP of Press and Marketing
A journalist by training who honed her media skills as a publicist for CNN, Elizabeth is amazed she’s found a way to make a living from her three favorite hobbies – writing, traveling and wandering the internet. Based in Atlanta, Elizabeth enjoys getting lost in new cities and seeing the world one destination at a time with her husband and infant daughter. From Parisian cafes to the snow-covered slopes of the Rocky Mountains, Elizabeth knows it’s the local flavor that adds spice to any vacation. A beach bum at heart, she is often found with her toes in the sand of the Florida Panhandle. Elizabeth believes that comfortable accommodations are as necessary as chocolate and is constantly seeking ways to help bring the ScenicRentals brand to the forefront of the vacation rental industry.
