Among the most popular beaches of the region are the Marina di Puolo, Alimuri beach in Meta di Sorrento, Marina Grande, Praino, Marina del Cantone in the gulf of Salerno, and the famous beaches of Capri.
Entertainment : For those who want to spend their nights in a lively and warm atmosphere, the coast offers lots of bars, pubs, and nightclubs. Often during the summer, open-air parties are organized on beaches and in private parks, and are advertised in flyers distributed on the streets during the day.
Music: The Sorrentine Peninsula is well-known for its rich and diverse music. Traditional songs such as O? Sole Mio, Santa Lucia, Tu Vo? Fa Americano, Torna A Surriento all have their roots here among our lemon trees. Italian music was transported by Italian migrants throughout the world and is still sung here at home, where most local families carry on the tradition of singing at meals.
