Alberobello, a village which was built around the year '400, is one of the most typical villages in Puglia, where the tourist can admire the beauty of the local dwellings, the Trulli.
These ancient cone-shaped houses are made-up of white lime stone, a cone-shaped roof with grey "chiaccarelle"and a pinnacle of lime-stone on the top. In the inside there is a round-shaped room above which stands a cone-shaped cupola, where arches divide the room giving access to the remaining areas of the Trullo. The old Town center was declared a national monument. The most important districts of Alberobello, Monti and Aia Piccola, are completly made up of Trulli which are strictly connected one to the other. The panorama is fascinating and this makes Alberobello one of the most charming places in our region.
Alberobello is set to around 420 mt. on the level of the sea, to 16 Kms from the Adriatic, 40 Kms from the Jonio sea, it enjoys of a beautiful climate, therefore it is the ideal destination for the vacations to the sea, without forgetting to visit some other angle of Apuglia.
In the immediate proximities, besides the enchanting coast and to the innumerable services that he/she offers to the swimmers, manifold they are the places' of tourist interest: the "Caves of Castellana", Castel of the Mountain, Polignano sea, Ostuni the city' white, the Valley Of Itria with Locorotondo(town of white wine D.O.C.G.), Cisternino and Martina Franca (town of Baroque), the Stones of Matera, etc
