Within a 20 minute drive from the airport, and just 5 minutes from Alki, a 4 mile stretch of sand beach, as well as only 15 minutes from downtown Seattle.

The living room and dining room areas open to the waterfront with sliding doors, and living space is extended by a sun deck. This home is within a 5 minute drive of Alki Beach, preceding north along the water's edge. Alki, Seattle's nicest beach, with lots of sand, host to sand castle contests and beach volleyball, offers impressive views across the water toward downtown.

A paved walkway stretches the length of the beach for walking or rollerblading. Coffee shops, cafes, fish & chips eateries, and steak / seafood houses line the avenue, offering a nice selection for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack.

Downtown Seattle, with a wealth of sights and attractions, is just a 15 minute drive or take the water taxi from Alki.

Downtown:
Downtown Seattle is quick and easy to get to. Enjoy downtown shopping, the Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Pioneer Square, and the waterfront Piers. Seattle has an excellent art museum, aquarium, and science center.

Daytrips:
It's only just over a half hour drive to Snoqualmie Falls, or an hour and a half to Mt. Rainier. Take a ferry to Vashon Island or Port Orchard - it's less than 5 minutes to the ferry dock.
