This Casa Belfores is situated in Livramento between Funchal and Monte, right at the bottom of the toboggan rides. A public bus stop is around the corner as well as a taxi stand. Several nice restaurants and tascas (coffee shops) are also in the vicinity. The owners live next door and are around every day for tips and information.
The original house was built in the 19th century and bought by an Portuguese English couple who restored it carefully. It still has the original ornate plaster ceilings and a nice wooden staircase to the upstairs bedrooms. There, it is difficult for the guests to decide on arrival who gets which Laura Ashley style bedroom. Cleaning is done daily, and linen and towels are changed regularly. The house is engulfed and embedded by a multitude of plants, flowers and trees, the guests can make use of the fruit and vegetable growing in the garden, all this with a beautiful view over Funchal.
This is the ideal holiday for flower fans who wish for privacy in an old, typical residence in Madeira. Please book early, the house is quite in demand!

The house offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms with separate bath/Shower/WC, a big kitchen with dining area and gas & electric oven, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, coffee machine and toaster.
The guest also finds cable television, telephone (metered), a barbecue grill and heating on demand (charge). The owners also provide meals on demand (direct booking).
