As a regular traveller, I have over the years found that most of the accommodation is pretty overpriced, dated, woody, musty smelling and noisy. Personally, I really like a place like BYD Lofts, because of the terrific apartments, great service and its away from all the noise and clutter of Patong. . Not bad. BYD Lofts are in downtown Patong, ultramodern, sleek apartments with large kitchen, big terraces. Its about a 100m or so walk to the beach, but it is in little private road so not noisy like on the beach road or 200 year rd. I also like the Moevenpick residences, but they don\\\'t seem to be open yet, and nobody can give me any rate or opening date....coming soon is all I hear....Well, whatever.

We stayed at this property whilst they were having a \\\"Soft Opening\\\" (as they like to call it in Asia). Not too sure if I approve of this marketing approach. BUT in saying that we were blown away by the apartments. Each apartment seems to be configured differently, our friends had a different one to us. Wow, plasma television, great...

CANCELLATIONS POLICIES

PEAK SEASON (20 DECEMBER -10 JANUARY)

For cancellations between 45 days -30 days prior to arrival, the Resort will charge 50% the total amount of the booking.
For cancellations 29 days or less prior to arrival, the Resort will charge 50% of the full amount of the booking.
NO SHOWS, the full amount of booking value will be charged.
EARLY CHECK-OUT, the full amount of the booking value will be charged.
HIGH SEASON (1 NOVEMBER - 20 DECEMBER AND 10 JANUARY ? 30 APRIL)

For cancellations between 29 -21days prior to arrival, the Resort will charge 50% of the total amount of the booking
For cancellations 20 days or less prior to arrival, the Resort will charge the full amount of the booking.
NO SHOWS, the full amount of booking value will be charged.
EARLY CHECK-OUT, the full amount of the booking value will be charged.
LOW SEASON (1 MAY ? 31 OCTOBER)

For cancellations between 14 days - 7 days prior to arrival, the Resort will charge 50% of the total amount of the booking.
For cancellations 6 days or less prior to arrival, the Resort will charge the full amount of the booking.
NO SHOWS, the full amount of booking value will be charged.
EARLY CHECK-OUT, the full amount of the booking value will be charged.
