Tubby's ice cream in town (3 miles away) has been voted the best ice cream in New England several years in a row. It is made on the property and they also offer Lobster stew and Lobster rolls. The Wayne General Store (next to Tubby's) has the best pizza!

There are two queen beds on the main floor and two twins that can be made into a king on the lower level. The lower level is a separate apartment with it's own kitchen and bathroom and family room with tv, vcr, dvd, video library and walk out door to the lake.

The Maine State Museum in Augusta is a wonderful historical look at what made Maine.
