New Smyrna Beach, with its 13 miles of pristine white sugar sand, is one of the most beautiful and relaxing beaches in Florida where you can experience unforgettable sunrises, dig your toes in the sand, look for shells, go surfing, build a sand castle, surf fish or watch space launches.
There are lifeguard stations on the beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Condo 401, a fabulous southeast corner unit, has breathtaking panoramic views (not afforded by interior units) of the Atlantic Ocean and the no-drive beach from its two private balconies. Two large sliding glass doors on the east side of the living room and a sliding glass door on the south side open to the wrap-around, ocean-front balcony that is well equipped with deck furniture and provides a full view of the pool, beach, ocean and well-manicured lawn. The new sliding glass doors have upper locks that are out of reach by small children. This condo has been completly renovated and redecorated. This includes new vanities with granite countertops, under-mount sinks and chrome faucets in the hall and master baths. The tile above the tub in the hall bath has been replaced the tile and floor of the large walk-in shower in the master bath have been replced. A frameless glass door has been installed for the master bath shower.
This condo is on the fourth floor of the Sunrise Condominium. The two side balconies have a southern exposure. The 225 square-foot front balcony has a panoramic view of the beach. There is a newly constructed walkway to the hard-packed, white-sand beach. There are beach chairs, lounges, umbrellas, and beach toys. There is easy access to the seasonally heated pool, shuffleboard court, tennis and basketball courts, and gas grill via either of two convenient elevators or a nearby stairway. In their quest to report on operating, historical drugstore soda fountain counters near the main exits along Florida's I-95 highway the authors discovered Canal Street's iconic Little Drug Company in the New Smyrna Beach historic business district. The authors spent hours interviewing the business owners and several customers. They said this gem is exactly what they had in mind when they began their search.
We have no damage or signs of oil on our beaches. We are on the East Atlantic Coast in Volusia County about halfway up the Florida peninsula. The Gulf Stream passes over 85 miles out to sea from our shore which provides some protection from the Gulf oil spill. However, I will guarantee a full refund of deposit or rentals if your planned visit has to be canceled prior to your visit due to an actual environmental issue in New Smyrna Beach resulting from the oil spill in the Gulf. If your planned visit has to be cancelled due to weather-related evacuation in New Smyrna Beach prior to your visit, I will guarantee a full refund of deposit or rentals. If cancellation is necessary after your arrival, your rental will be refunded on a prorated nightly basis.
