This lovely stone house is perched up on the limestone plateau above the small market town of Bedarieux and has stunning views over the Orb valley, vineyards and hills. It is set in a hectare of land with dry stone walls, firs and cherry trees, and is within easy reach of both craggy mountains with dramatic gorges and the Mediterranean beaches.
ACCOMMODATION
Ground Floor
From the covered terrace the main entry leads straight into a large open-plan living/ dining room with kitchen area. The kitchen is fully fitted with gas hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer.
The dining table seats six.
At the far end of the room is a sitting area with sofa and two armchairs by the fireplace. French windows lead out to the covered terrace.
Off a hallway with a large wardrobe are: A Bathroom with small bath, shower attachment and washing machine; A separate WC; Master-bedroom with standard sized (140cm) double bed. (Baby cot available).
First Floor:
The stairs are quite steep and have no hand-rail (so unsuitable for toddlers and the elderly). Second bedroom with queen-sized (160cm) double bed. There is also a convertable double sofa-bed in the bedroom.
Outside:
The house is set in a hectare (2.5 acres) of private grounds with attractive dry-stone wall terraced fields, firs and cherry trees. (Young children would need supervision because of the terracing).
The 8x4m swimming pool, about 30m away from the house, is on a raised piece of ground with wonderful views across the countryside. 4 sun-loungers. Built-in BBQ nearby.
