Tucked away in a magical corner of Southern Tuscany, perched up on top of a cliff which overlooks the sea, not too far from places which are interesting historically speaking, and amongst the authentic natural wonders of the Maremma Natural Park, stands the Talamonaccio Tower, a historic Spanish tower erected to protect against the Saracen invasions. Torre di Talamonaccio has recently undergone restoration and is now the ideal house to rent for one's extraordinary holidays.
The tower is surrounded by two terraces, one of which has been transformed into a splendid panoramic lookout with jacuzzi, amongst the greenery of the garden, equipped with a few essential pieces of sporting gear and deckchairs. It is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the wonderful sunshine or, after sunset, to enjoy the company of good friends and a glass of wine around the barbecue. The Tower also has its own independent walking trail which leads directly to the sea, and its own private sunbathing deck, which gives the opportunity of private boat docking.
Description: The ground floor has a fully equipped modern kitchen, a dining area with fireplace, and three double bedrooms each with independent bathrooms. The first floor has an enormous living room with air conditioning and a fireplace. Enjoy the fabulous 180 degree view over the sea (see Argentario and such Islands as Giglio and Giannutri). It is furnished with comfortable chairs and couches. In the dining area you will find an antique wooden table for 8 people. From here you have access to the splendid terrace with deckchairs. The Lookout tower has a double bedroom with bathroom, a living-room corner, and access to a small terrace.
