A recently converted garden cottage set in the grounds of Quinta das Colmeias at Santo da Serra offers an alternative to the main house and accommodates a maximum of 6 People.
The grounds offer you peace and seclusion without the inconvenience of being remote or inaccessible.

The cottage of composed of three bedrooms (one twin and two double beds) and two bathrooms one of which has a shower unit as opposed to bath.

The sitting dinning area with its fireplace is a cosy family centre off which lies a fully equipped kitchen.
Central heating is available during the winter months and a direct metered telephone allows guest to make and receive telephone calls.
The swimming pool next to the main house is available (during summer months) as so are barbecuing and croquet facilities.
In a similar manner which applies to the main house, the Quinta grounds can be visited by visitors and organically produced vegetables can be purchased as and when available.
Santo da Serra is good centre for walking and a number of different walks can be accessed within a short distance.
The golf course of Santo da Serra, is just a three minute drive away and access to the sea at Santa Cruz is a bare 10 minutes by car.
Airport is only 8 km away, Funchal Madeira main town is only 30 km , 45 minutes drive away.
