Villa Chiara is a secluded stone, wood beamed ceilings, huge fireplace farmhouse with extensive views of the landscape of Tuscany and Umbria. It is carefully restored, well equipped, furnished in traditional style and offers a tranquil rural retreat, yet is ideally placed for visits to Umbrian and Tuscan major tourist centres.
THE FARMHOUSE (280m2) is laid out over two floors. On the ground floor the kitchen the laundry a bathroom the dining-room and the living-room with a huge fireplace. All the rooms downstairs have an exit on the garden. An internal chestnut-wood stair leads on the first floor, there you are going to find two bathrooms and four bedrooms with panoramic views over hillsides of pasture and woodland. All the rooms downstairs and upstairs have splendid high ceilings with exposed chestnut beams. The large outside area is totally fenced and has a terrace.
The property includes a little lake.
Villa Chiara is marvellously situated for relaxing or exploring the ancient towns of the region; Cortona, Perugia, Assisi, Siena, Florence, Gubbio and many more.

There is an excellent, well marked, trekking path which goes around the hills of Lake Trasimeno, this is also good for mountain biking, although we do not provide mountain bikes. Golf, horse riding and pool available in Citt? di Castello and Umbertide.

We are also building an outdoor swimming pool (6m x 12m, 1 metre is about 3.27 feet), we will have the pool ready for use by early May 2003.
