By providing information to us when subscribing, contacting us or otherwise using the Website, you expressly agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy was updated on May 15, 2012 and applies from that date. This privacy policy may occasionally be amended to reflect new technology, other enhancements and new or changed disclosure practices. Vacationers will be given the option to receive our Traveler newsletter when they submit inquiries. We may offer different newsletters from time to time intended to enhance our offering. Users may cancel their subscription to these newsletters at any time. Note there may be a small time delay for the changes in your preferences to become effective.

We occasionally use surveys to collect information about our users, owners, and/or managers. From time to time, we request users' input in order to evaluate potential features and services. You will be able to make the decision of whether to answer the survey or not. We use information gathered from surveys to improve our website.

From time to time we may run games on the Website. These games may allow for connectivity with other users or third parties. If that is the case you consent to your personal data being transferred accordingly.

Vacationers often send inquiries to managers and owners through clickable links on the listings on the Website. If you choose to send an inquiry using this method, your personal information, including your email address and other information you supply, will be viewable to the member in question so that they might reply directly to you. Your details are often carbon copied to us and we may have access to those communications. Additionally these email messages may be hosted on, be processed by or transmit through our servers. If you call the member, you may be asked to leave a return telephone number. Do not share information in the e-mail or phone call that you are not prepared to allow them and ScenicRentals.com to have, including, but not limited to, credit card and bank account information. Inquiries can be sent to the individual manager or owner you selected and to us. The resulting inquiry is available for review by the manager or owner to whom it was initially addressed and to our support department, who may share past inquiry information, including your contact details with owners or managers. We may also from time to time, use third party e-mail servers to send and track receipt of inquiry emails, and analyze the pattern of inquiry usage reported by these third party tracking systems.
