Vail Rental Information
Vail, Colorado is considered by many to be the biggest skiing town in North America. Vail boasts over 5,000 acres of free-ride terrain which leaves plenty of room to find fresh track and explore the mountains on skis or a snowboard. During the skiing seasons, guests—who are intermediate skiers and above—can enjoy a free tour to familiarize themselves with the mountains before they set out on their own. With at least 300 days of blue sky a year and fantastically groomed terrain, Vail is a coveted ski destination throughout the world. While on the mountains of Vail, one can still have fun in the snow and sun without skiing or snowboarding. The many resorts offer adventurous activities like dog-sledding , tubing, and snowshoeing. To learn more about Vail’s superb skiing, visitors can check out the Colorado Ski Museum and Hall of Fame while in the city. This museum highlights and preserves the history of skiing and snowboarding. Aside from skiing, Vail is known for some arts and cultural events. Vail hosts a four-day film festival in the early spring. The Vail Film Festival has thousands of attendees, and even attracts such public figures and their films as Luke Wilson and David Duchovny. Vail also hosts the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival . This festival showcases the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra among other talented musicians, and it runs through the month of July. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
