Middletown, Delaware is a great town located in New Castle County, Delaware.
 
The perfect time of year to visit Middletown is in August during the fun-filled Olde Tyme Peach festival. This is usually held during the third Saturday in August. Start the festivities off by watching the parade and listening to all the great music that's around. While you are there, you cannot pass up all the amazing fair-type food and of course anything you can imagine made from peaches!
 
Another great place to stop by is St. Andrew’s School. This is where the majority of the 1989 movie Dead Poets Society was filmed.

While visiting Middletown, Delaware you can also spend some time at Silver Lake Park,shooting some hoops, playing tennis or taking a dip in the Silver Lake pool. Not far down the road, play a fun game of gulf at the Frog Hollow Gulf Club.
 
After spending a day enjoying the outdoors, spend the evening eating pizza at La Pizza Italian Restaurant & Grill or hanging out at The Sandbar, one of the newer restaurant and nightclubs in town. Here you can enjoy live entertainment or a couple fun games of pool while also enjoying some steamed shrimp, clams, or a mouth watering steak.
