Zion National Park Area Rentals By Owner

Spanning over the Colorado Plateau, the Great Basin, and Mojave Desert is Zion National Park . The park is the oldest in the state of Utah and is known for its incredible beauty and recreation. Zion Canyon is the most traveled area of Zion National Park. Tourists flock to visit the Narrows , a series of slot canyons; Emerald Pools, three tranquil pools in a ravine; Angels Landing, one of the most popular trails in the country; and Weeping Rock, a cliff that looks as if its crying.

The Virgin River runs through the red sandstone of Zion Canyon, and one of the best ways to explore the national park is to hike one of the many trails that run alongside Virgin River. There is even the handicap accessible Riverside Walk constructed so everyone can enjoy the beauty of the canyons. All levels of hiking and biking trails are all over Zion National Park.

The canyons of the park are also very popular amongst rock climbers. The varying terrain makes it a great destination for all climbers. Lots of tourists choose to enjoy the fantastic scenery on horseback. Many horseback tours take place daily. Tours of the rock towers and monoliths are also given on foot and in jeeps through Zion National Park.

Those wanting to see the less traveled back country of the park should visit Kolob Canyons and Terrace. The Kolob Canyons are a little known area of the park, but are just as spectacular with their deep, red canyons and varying vegetation as the rest.

The red sandstone of the Zion National Park makes it great for vacation photography opportunities—souvenirs and memories that will last a lifetime.
