Lake Michigan Beach, also sometimes affectionately known as Hagar Shores, is a great place for lake cabin rentals. An entire vacation can be planned around the simple life of leisure that takes place in this part of Michigan. Summers are a great time to retreat to Michigan, as the state is known for its mild weather during the warmer months and for having plenty of leisure activities to choose from. The Lake Michigan Beaches are known for their beauty, especially for the soft sand and clear, cool water. The dunes of the beaches are high and covered in green beach grass.

Wine and leisure tend to go hand and hand, and tasting great wine is another pastime that can be enjoyed in Lake Michigan Beach. Some of the areas popular wineries are the Round Barn Winery, the Lemon Creek Winery and Fruit Farm, and the Domaine Berrien Cellars, all located in Baroda.

Annual events for the area are the Blossomtime Festival in late-May, a festival centered on flowers, and the Four Flags Area Apple Festival held in October to honor one of the great crops in Michigan.
