Atlanta, Georgia is a fabulous city for anyone or any group to visit! The capitol of Georgia, and probably the most popular city as well, is located in Fulton County, Georgia. Atlanta has easy visitor access through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which is considered one of the world’s busiest airports.
 
There are so many activities to do and places to see while you are here. If you are sports buff, come visit Turner Field and watch the Atlanta Braves, or The Georgia Dome to watch the Atlanta Falcons. You can also stop by Philips Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Thrashers. Time your visit right and you might get to watch an exciting faceoff!
 
One of the best parks to hang out at is Piedmont Park. Take a jog or just walk and enjoy the great outdoors while also enjoying some of the downtown skyline. Here you can bring your dog to socialize at the dog park, or catch one of the concerts that are often held here. This is also a perfect location for swimming, fishing, or a pick up game of basketball or baseball.
 
While downtown, take a stroll through Centennial Olympic Park. This reserve of 21 acres of beauty located in the heart of downtown is one of the most popular tourist spots now and during the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Here you can do some ice skating in the winter, grab an ice cream and catch a concert, or take a run through the famous Ring Fountain. Close by, you can spend the day in the Georgia Aquarium. Take in the beauty of the whale sharks, beluga whales, or the adorable sea otters. You won’t want to miss the largest aquarium in the world. Other places to make a stop are CNN Atlanta, the global headquarters of CNN, or take a tour of the World of Coca-Cola. If you want to get your shopping fix, spend some time shopping at Underground Atlanta, a historic shopping and entertainment complex that lies under the city of Atlanta!
 
If you are headed to Atlanta for the nightlife, you won’t be let down. Whatever you are looking for, you are sure to find it, whether it be a raucous dance club, or an intimate bar or lounge. Great nightlife can also be found in the close by cities of Buckhead or Midtown.
