Saint Cloud, Minnesota is a beautiful area otherwise known as "The Granite City". Saint Cloud is a rapidly growing city located in Stearns, Benton and Sherburne Counties.
 
There are several fun things to do while visiting the city of Saint Cloud, starting with the great outdoors. Spend a relaxing evening at the Lake George Boathouse, where you can rent a paddleboat for a few hours and enjoy the peaceful waters or do a little fishing. Or, take a stroll through Munsinger and Clemens Gardens. While admiring the beauty of these gardens, make sure you take a deep breath and take in all the wonderful smells of the thousands of flowers around you.
 
Quarry Park is a must if you are in the city of Saint Cloud. Here you get to enjoy the beauty and uniqeness of 20 different granite quarries. These quarries have been around and running since the 1800s.The Stearns History Museum also gives you an idea of how the area looked in the 1800s, along with giving you a great visual history of granite production in the area.
 
While you are here, swing by Summerland -- a fun activity park to bring the family for some good old-fashioned putt-putt. You can also have a blast on the go carts and Indy carts; see who in the group has the lead foot! If you start to get hungry after all this fun, grab a specially brewed beer and a Crispy Shrimp Taco or Honey Rosemary Filet Mignon at the Granite City Food & Brewery, or eat a delicious steak at the Bonanza Steakhouse.
