Saint Paul is the capitol of Minnesota, located in Ramsey County on the north bank of the beautiful Mississippi River. The Winter Carnival has been a tradition in Saint Paul dating all the way back to 1886. During the carnival, you can see a variety of incredible ice sculptures, a beautiful ice palace, a winter parade, a torchlight parade, and many runners braving the cold to run a 5K. There is also a variety of winter food to eat while you are watching all the endless entertainment. If you are coming to the city with your children, you will definitely have to make a stop at the Minnesota Children’s Museum. Here there are plenty of hands-on activities for children from 6 months to 10 years old. The kids will have tons of fun experiencing new and exciting activities. You will also want to spend some time at the Como Zoo and Conservatory. The kids will love all the interesting animals from all over the world! Another neat museum to visit is The Schubert Club Museum of Musical Instruments.
