A day in this museum will teach you everything you could ever want to know about the state of Mississippi, from the past to the present. There are many intriguing exhibits on Native American history, the Civil War, the Big Cotton Culture, and much, much more!
 
Catch a breath of fresh air while taking a stroll through the Mynelle Gardens. Developed in 1920, the Mynelle Gardens consist of seven breathtaking acres of peaceful, distinct countryside gardens, including an English bog garden, medical and herb garden, and a Japanese garden. Spend the evening taking a romantic stroll through the winding pathways and relaxing at the various reflecting ponds.
 
The Fondren Arts District is the most popular neighborhood in Jackson. You will find this neighborhood located right in the middle of Jackson.
