Columbia, Missouri is a fantastic place to spend some of your much needed time off work! Located in Boone County, Missouri , Columbia is bordered on three sides by three different colleges, making it quite the hot spot for young professionals. Columbia has a beautiful downtown with many of its buildings possessing exquisite architectural features. You can also find many of these unique buildings on the University of Missouri ’s campus. The city does not have a very tall skyline, but is dominated by the 10 story high Tiger Hotel.
 
If you are looking for an area that offers many opportunities to enjoy the performing arts and live music, Columbia has it all. Jesse Auditorium and the Missouri Theatre Center for the Arts are two of the largest venues in the city. If you are in town at the right time, you can see the popular True/False Film Festival at the Ragtag Cinema. The annual Roots ‘n Blues ‘n Jazz festival and the "We Always Swing" jazz series bring some of the best of jazz and blues right to Columbia.
