Kansas City has officially been named the City of Fountains , with over 200 fountains scattered throughout the city. Many of these beautiful fountains are located in County Club Plaza , a compilation of gorgeous fountains in Crown Center that glisten in the beautiful lighting at night, and an especially beautiful one to see is the Black Marble H&R Block Fountain.
 
Spend a day in one of the many parks in Kansas City. Swope Park is one of the largest city parks in the country. In this park you can spend some time in the zoo, hit some balls at one of two golf courses, skip rocks in one of the lakes, listen to music in the park’s amphitheater, and much, much more! Another interesting park is Hodge Park, which has a fascinating history to it. The park is home to 20 historical buildings from 1807 to 1885 and even has its own history museum. The last park you will want to hang out at is Riverfront Park , which holds many of the city’s festivals and is located right on the banks of the Missouri River .
