Stowe Rentals By Owner

Located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, Stowe is a nature lover’s haven. The highest peak in Vermont, Mount Mansfield, is located in Stowe, and its highest slopes attract intermediate and advanced skiers from around the country. Stowe is mainly a ski vacation spot, but is still visited year round for its beauty and attractions.

The Trapp Family Lodge—originally owned by the Von Trapps of The Sound of Music fame—is another main draw of Stowe. The Austrian inspired lodge is a great destination for hikers, skiers, and bikers. Along with the crisp fall weather of Vermont, the changing leaves of the season and the many outdoor recreational activities make autumn a primetime to visit the state and the city of Stowe.

In the summer, Stowe hosts the annual Vermont Mozart Festival. The Vermont Mozart Festival is meant to celebrate the beauty of both the state and of Mozart’s music. The festival presents around 20 concerts and usually has one of its biggest and most popular shows on the grounds of the Trapp Family Lodge.

The Stowe Recreation Path, a five mile recreation path, is used by locals and visitors to enjoy the beauty of the city. The award-winning path is used for hiking, biking, and wildlife-viewing. Many deer and moose, popular animals in the state of Vermont, can be hopefully seen while enjoying the Stowe Recreation Path.

Stowe’s world-class dining, in restaurants such as Michael’s on the Hill Restaurant which is said to rival the best in New England, makes it a popular vacation spot, as well as it blossoming spa community.
