Not to be confused with the U.S. Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands offer up plenty of exciting island vacation rental opportunities themselves. Virgin Gorda is home to The Baths – a sometimes crowded but well-worth-it natural lagoon that is formed from the surrounding natural granite boulders. The British Virgin Islands are also home to the second largest coral reef in the world – Horseshoe Reef. Horseshoe Reef is home to several endangered species like Caribbean flamingoes and Anegada Rock Iguanas.
