Activities in Jenner often center around the River's mouth. Kayak rental is available by the hour and is a peaceful way to explore the natural beauty of the area. Kayaking gives vacationers a rare opportunity to experience seals, California sea otters and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Pull up along Goat Rock Beach to do a little swimming and enjoy the refreshing water. Many visitors bring picnic lunches to enjoy here as well. Hiking is another incredibly popular past time in Jenner and a wonderful way to see all the gifts Mother Nature has brought to this special region. Trails range from serene to challenging, with the more difficult generally found in Pomo Canyon Trail. Kortum Trail offers gentler terrain and is appropriate for a wider range of activity levels.
