Brigantine Vacation Rentals and Lodging

Brigantine, NJ is an island near Atlantic City, and it makes for a great vacation spot since it’s so close to so many fun things to do.

First, head on out to the Brigantine Lighthouse which was built in 1926 and has a museum and gift shop inside. Jump in your car or take a bicycle to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge protects over 40,000 acres of New Jersey Coastal Habitats and wetlands. You can drive through an 8 mile long trail that crosses over dams and highlights various features.

Have a splashing time at the Atlantic City Aquarium. One of their most popular exhibits is the Dive and Dine which features a diver in a 25,000 gallon tank. While you eat, you can watch the diver hand-feed cownose rays, dogfish, and nurse sharks. You also have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the diver.

Ready for a cruise? Then hop aboard on one of the Atlantic City Cruises. You can choose to go on the 2 hour Dolphin Watching Cruise, the afternoon Sightseeing Cruise, or the morning Skyline Cruise. These ships have two full-service bars, food, and a dance floor.

A great place to get some delicious food is at Pirate’s Den Restaurant. It sits right across from the ocean and is a rather popular spot with its great food, relaxing atmosphere, and beautiful scenery.

But if you just want to relax and get some sun, then go down to Brigantine beach where you have the option of sport fishing, wave riding, nature walking, boating, 4-wheeling, or, of course, relaxing on the sandy beach with the warm sun beating on you and a nice cool drink in your hand.
