Their charters head out into the Gulf of Mexico for the day, in hopes of catching a big tarpon or mackerel or king fish. All shopping and dining in Punta Gorda can be found at Fisherman's Village. The biggest perk of Fisherman's Village is that you can get your shopping done and have a nice meal all while overlooking the Punta Gorda Harbor. Live entertainment and music can be enjoyed throughout the week at the various restaurants. Fisherman's Village is also where you head to sign up for an elegant dinner cruise. The harbor cruises of Punta Gorda allow for the best views of the bright orange, beautiful Florida sunset, and are the perfect ending to a beach day.
