Batu Feringgi is no surf beach. There are no rollers fresh from the Indian Ocean, just a slow easy swell that slides up onto the clean yellow-brown sand, lets you know that it?s around and then sighs back. It is easy to imagine the first European sailors drifting ashore on the gentle swells to find fresh water and gazing up at the forested slopes that rise steeply behind the foreshore. Choose this Condo to be your next Malaysia vacation rental.

Malaysia Vacation Rentals and Lodging

Looking for a tropical beach vacation rental with a burst of different cultural flavors and sounds? Then Malaysia rentals are probably just the thing for you! The blending of different cultures such as Indian, Chinese, and Malay, combined with the gorgeous tropical scenery and weather make these islands the perfect vacation rental destination.

Start your Malaysia vacation on an exciting note and visit the Snake Temple. This temple, located in the town of Bayan Lepas, was built in 1850 and has actual pit vipers living on the grounds. You can usually see the vipers curled up in various spots around the temple and you are welcome to touch them, if you consider yourself brave enough! (Don’t worry, the snakes are actually devenomed for safety.)

To see some more native residents of Malaysia, stop by the Penang Botanical Gardens. Aside from some absolutely stunning tropical plants and flowers, you are sure to see some of the roving monkeys that prowl the grounds. Watch out for them, though – they have been known to steal from the tourists visiting the Gardens! Perhaps they’re hoping for a tasty little snack since Penang is known as the "food paradise" of Malaysia.

Make your next stop the Sam Poh Tong (the Cavern of Triple Gems). This Chinese temple, located at Gunung Rapat, is built within a limestone cave and is home to a tortoise pond that houses hundreds of the shelled creatures. This popular Malaysia attraction is also in close proximity to a number of other cave temples.

Finally, when you have seen your share of the creepy, the sneaky, and the slow-moving, it’s time to visit what Malaysia is best known for – the simply gorgeous beaches! The East Coast of Malaysia is full of beautiful, unspoiled beaches – here you can relax on the beach and have plenty of elbow room to enjoy the scenery by yourself. But this side of Malaysia is much more conservative than its neighbor to the West and you will be expected to keep your head covered and pay a little more attention to the local customs. West Malaysia has its share of beautiful beaches as well. Balok beach is a well-known wind surfing destination, and Batu Hitam is famous for its dark stones strewn along the shore. But for a true tropical beach experience full of white sands and crystal clear waters, head on over to Redang Island. This popular island is an important site for sea turtle conservation and is home to thousands of tropical fish that inhabit the coral reefs just off shore.

So whatever you see or do during your Malaysia rentals, you can be sure that you’ll be surrounded by some amazing scenery and some unique native wildlife. Malaysia vacations are truly one-of-a-kind and Scenic Rentals has many Malaysia rentals for you to choose from!
