Tempe Rentals By Owner

As the home of Arizona State University’s oldest and largest campus, Tempe, Arizona is a lively city that is sure to entertain. Arizona State University has a big hand in the vibrance and diversity of Tempe. The University’s campus is covered in tropical trees from all over the world, which makes the entire campus itself officially an arboretum. In the Life Sciences building on campus, there is a huge display of reptiles, and there are a couple other free museums, like the ASU Mars Space Flight Facility and ASU R. S. Dietz Museum of Geology. Great performances in the area take place in both the Gammage Auditorium — which is on the Arizona State University campus and was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright — and the Tempe Center for the Arts.

Tons of great bars and restaurants are popular to the college crowd and tourists in Tempe. Restaurants in the area have both great food and great prices because of the usual crowds. La Fonda Mexican Food is great, as well as Caffe Boa, which has been voted best Italian food in the area. Four Peaks Brewing Company makes their own ale and also serves award-winning food. Another place known for its beer and great food is the Rula Bula Irish Pub and Restaurant.

Twice yearly, Tempe holds the Tempe Festival of the Arts. Held in March and in the fall, the festival has free admission and a featured artist that is highlighted and praised throughout. The Tempe Festival of the Arts also acts as a host for the Arizona Wine Festival. Tempe is also very close to the Arizona capital city of Phoenix, so while in the area take advantage of the sports, arts, and nightlife in Phoenix as well.
