Tybee Island, Savannah's getaway, is just 18 miles east of Savannah. Many make the easy commute from Savannah to Tybee Island to relax on the three mile stretch of beautiful Tybee Island beach. Other Tybee restaurant favorites are The North Beach Grill, just off of the beach, AJ's, where you can watch the sunset from their oceanfront location, Hunter House, The Breakfast Club and The Crab Shack, where  the elite eat in their bare feet.  If you're feeling adventurous, catch your own Tybee Island Crab.
