Leyside Estate is in the center of Englewood, walking distance to shopping plazas, inexpensive restaurants, churches and clubs. There's lots of cool stuff for kids to do when they visit, like fishing, crabbing, exploring, mini golf, go carts, batting cages and searching for star fish and prehistoric shark’s teeth.
With 7 suites on an acre of waterfront, at Leyside you will meet other guests and make new friends. For those that enjoy their privacy there are quiet areas. We supply chaise lounges for sunning on 100' of waterfront lawn. Lemon Bay is a bird sanctuary, with lots of beautiful water birds. Enjoy the romantic night lights in the covered Gazebo on the waterfront. See manatee up close and the antics of dolphins. This is a perfect spot to have a cold drink and watch the brilliant colored sunsets flare out across the sparkling bay each evening.
One can't overlook the value of our 26' Swimming Pool over-looking the water.
Within 10 miles Baseball fans can see the Blue Jays at the Texas Rangers Baseball Stadium, located next to the Largest Shopping Mall on the gulf coast. There are lots of interesting restaraunts, a Giant Flea Market, the Tennis Club, the Warm Mineral Springs (Some say that this is the fountain of youth) and two 100 acre nature parks with Bald Eagle nests. For GOLFERS there are 10 golf courses including a par 5 PGA. Fees start at $1. per hole including a cart. There is even a course that is lit for playing at night.
