What we love about this place
Baan Pa Hin is a villa on the exclusive Katamanda Estate, situated on the south east of the island of Phuket, overlooking two of its finest beaches.

The house, with a wide ocean view, has a 14m. long swimming pool, six double bedrooms en suite, a large main sitting room with an equal sized adjoining covered terrace and a big family room with a plasma television. The house was only completed in 2005 so it is all airconditioned, with fax, plugs for internet, soundsystem etc. It is a five minute walk down through the estate to Kata Noi Beach. Kata Noi Beach is half a mile long and two thirds of it, our end, is roped off from jetskiis, speed boats etc. making it wonderfully peaceful.

Baan Pa Hin is staffed by three maids and a chef. They are trained by the owners who love the house and visit regularly. Laundry and shopping are done by the staff. The car, belonging to the house is available to guests with an international driving licence to use.

The estate has a club house, swimming pool, tennis court, and fitness centre. The management office can arrange airport taxis, car rental, boats scuba diving, golf, restaurant reservations etc. etc. Just next door is the nicest hotel in Phuket, the Villa Royale, a boutique hotel owned by Mon Tri of the Trisara Hotel, which has excellent food. There are also local delicious little restaurants, such as the 'Shack' where a meal costs BT300 (£4) and is truly good.

Due to the swimming pool leading from the terrace, the house is not ideally suited to young children.
