Description
This pretty villa is in a spacious and secluded domaine, above Fayence (15 mins drive), with lovely panorama of mountains, and distant views of the Mediterranean at Frejus. In season - skiing is 45 minutes; Grasse with its perfume factories, and Lake St Cassien, for sailing are close by. 55 minutes to the airport at Nice.
The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and en suite bathroom, WC, bidet and shower. The other bedroom also has a double bed. There is another separate bathroom with WC. Another room is locked to store owners personal effects.
Large spacious dining and lounge area, tiled in white, with modern comfortable furniture and log burning stone fireplace leading onto a spacious tiled patio with built in barbecue. One of the settees converts into a double bed. There is a computer (internet connected) and a standard TV in the lounge .
The spacious modern white kitchen with eating area also opens, through a glass door, onto the covered patio. There are two fridges, washing machine, electric cooker with two grill/ovens and microwave.
The Grounds - around 1/2 acre
There are gravel covered patios at the front leading onto a rock covered natural garden with white oaks. At the rear there is a wide gravel patio overlooking large rocks that lead down to the start of the forest where there is a plantation of very young oaks. The view from the rear of the mountains is stupendous, peaceful and extremely relaxing.
Food and refreshments can be taken on the covered patio at the front or on the open patios at the rear.
A lovely secluded almost new provençal style villa on an exclusive spacious domaine surrounded by a white oak forest with beautiful panoramic views of the mountains at the rear with a distant view, at the front, through the trees, of the sea at Frejus. At night and sometimes during the day the wild boar and deer can be seen roaming around and at times eagles can be seen sitting on fences. Bird life is numerous especially in the morning and evening. Skiing, on gentle slopes, during the season, is 45 mins, and Isola 2000 around 2 hrs.
Because of the undulating and rocky garden the villa is not really suitable for very young children unless constantly supervised..

Nearby Activities
Nice airport is 55mins, Antibes 45 mins, Cannes 30 mins, Frejus and St Raphael 30 mins, Aix in Provence and St Tropez both around 1 hour and of course Monaco and Italy are about 1 1/2 hours. There is the well known Croisette with the famous private and public sandy beaches at Cannes and wide sandy beaches at Frejus and St Raphael. 20 minutes away, you can sail or row on Lake St Cassien.
Grasse is another little town close by where you can visit the perfume factories. The local villages have world class artists that have galleries dotted around, regular concerts, folklore days and a never ending array of fetes and twice weekly markets.
The region has vineyards and farms where you can buy products direct. There are numerous nearby sightseeing trips which include Les Gorges du Verdon and canoeing, rowing, fishing, canyoning inland with all the watersports you can think of on the coast. There are marked official walks through the forest in all directions, even to the source of the nearby Siagne river.
