Renovation work on the main house has been carefully managed and styled so that much of the old charm is retained including the pigeonnier, the original stonework, inglenook fireplace, stone bread oven and exposed wooden beams. A working farm adjoins the property and it enjoys unrestricted views of the surrounding countryside.
Ground Floor
The ground floor is open plan with the main front door opening into the sitting room with TV/Video. The living room leads into the dining room, that in turn leads to large, well-equipped kitchen and separate utility room. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, gas hob, electric oven and microwave oven. The kitchen has patio doors that open onto a sun terrace with table, chairs, parasol and a specially constructed barbecue area.
From the living room a couple of steps lead to a double bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes, en suite bathroom and separate toilet.
First Floor
A wooden staircase leads from the living room to the first floor where there are three double bedrooms, each with built-in wardrobes and twin beds. There is a shower room and separate toilet on the first floor.
Garden
The property has a gated entrance and outside, there is a grass lawn, a parking area for several cars and a paved sun terrace leading to a 9m by 5m swimming pool that is fenced in for the sake of security. There is an area for volleyball and plenty of space in the garden for children to play safely.
Nearby Activities
The surrounding area has many attractive towns and villages including the world famous Rocamadour. Others include Gramat, St Cirq Lapopie, and Labastide-Murat. From Figeac, the river Célé and the river Lot wind their separate ways through some beautiful scenery then merge before flowing through the historic city of Cahors. Canoeing is a popular summer pastime. To the northeast it is a short drive into Le Jardin du Segala with its rolling landscape and lakes, such as Le Lac du Tolerme, a popular recreation area.
The entire Lot region is world famous for both its food and its wines.
