Casuarina Bay is an exceptionally beautiful, secluded hideaway on the island of Eleuthera, in the Bahamas. Just two lovely houses share this very private bay on the Atlantic, skirted by miles of pink sand beaches.
Easily accessible, Casuarina Bay is just one hour by air from Miami, and only seven miles from Governors Harbour airport. It's located just over a mile northeast of the quaint village of Governors Harbour, one of the oldest settlements in the Bahamas.
The house has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean from every room, amidst a picturesque grove of coconut palms, hibiscus, fragrant frangipani flowers, sea grape and casuarina trees.
The raised elevation and many large windows bring the beauty of the Bahamas right inside. Built of cedar in a dramatic three-storey design, the main house has 3+ bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room and dining area, fully equipped new kitchen, satellite TV and plenty of outside deck space with a luxury 6 person jacuzzi. There is an BBQ area overlooking the ocean and a beach cabana with beach chairs and a fresh water shower.
Each bedroom is aligned to catch the extraordinary sight of the moon rising out of the ocean, and of the tropical sunrise. The brilliance of the stars at night is unforgetable.
Looking to the West, your eyes rest on soft green hills and unforgettably colorful Caribbean sunsets.
