The recently opened and ever-expanding Pier Park is the latest and greatest addition to the Panama City entertainment scene. If you’re looking for an alternative to beach activities or the nightlife at Club La Vela (the largest nightclub in the United States) isn’t quite your scene, head instead to the family entertainment complex known as Pier Park. Covering more than one million square feet and centrally located between Front Beach Road and Highway 98 off the stretch known as Panama City Beach Parkway, Pier Park offers a little something for everyone, ensuring a memorable experience and fun for the whole family.

During the day, savvy consumers come to Pier Park for some of the best shopping along Florida’s Panhandle. Anchored by Dillard’s, JC Penney and Target, this Emerald Coast shopping mecca features upscale chain stores and speciality shops as well as smaller locally-owned boutiques. Stores offer a huge variety of merchandise, from ladies, men’s and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories to home furnishings, books, toys and more.  A good mix of well-known favorites and unique local shops offer a perfect alternative to the traditional beach choice of outlet shopping that is often overcrowded with bargain hunters looking to occupy a few hours on a rainy day.

At night, the open air concept of this “regional lifestyle center” creates an ideal place to bring the family for an exciting evening out. Take in a movie, treat the kids to a game of laser tag or create your own vacation souvenir at Paint N’ Place paint your own pottery shop. Grab a quick bite to eat at Panera or Five Guys Burgers and Fries or enjoy a casual meal at a local favorite like the Back Porch Seafood and Oyster House, Guglielmo’s Italian Grill or Bootleg Barbeque. Stop in at The Cantina for delicious upscale Mexican food and some of the best margarita’s we’ve tasted or enjoy a burger and the house drink at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.

After dinner, say goodnight to the kids and enjoy a nightcap at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge or live music at Margaritaville or Reggae J’s. Or, treat the whole family to ice cream or popcorn before taking a walk on the beach or heading back to your by owner vacation rental for the night.

And if that’s not enough to keep you busy, a new amusement park – Miracle Strip at Pier Park, opened on March 6th. Reminiscent of the old Miracle Strip Amusement Park that closed in 2004, Miracle Strip features traditional amusement park rides including a carousel and Ferris wheel, with plans to open two additional rides each year.

Pier Park is truly a fantastic addition to the Panama City Beach landscape, proving that this is one beach community that just gets better with age.

I’ve learned new things through your blog post. One more thing to I have found is that generally, FSBO sellers will certainly reject you actually. Remember, they’d prefer not to use your solutions. But if you maintain a stable, professional connection, offering assistance and staying in contact for four to five weeks, you will usually manage to win an interview. From there, a listing follows. Thanks
